At the beginning of the Corona Virus pandemic, God gave me a rock verse to stand on. It is found in Numbers 23:19-21, and it says “God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through? Listen, I received a command to bless; God has blessed, and I cannot reverse it! No misfortune is in His plan for Jacob; no trouble is in store for Israel. For the Lord their God is with them; he has been proclaimed their king.”
God loves to give us a promise word, a rock, that we can be grounded to in uncertain times. When I read this verse, it jumped out and grabbed hold of me. I knew this was my verse that no matter what comes, I can hold on to. I encourage you to ask the Holy Spirit to give you a rock verse for this season. And then take hold of your verse by faith. Just like you hold on to salvation by faith, hold on to your promise from God.
