21 DAYS OF FAITH - DAY 11 - GOD IS OUR INTERVENER

What we believe about who God is the most important key to our faith. This is especially true when it comes to faith. Hebrews 11:6 says, “Without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He is the Rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”

If you believe He is the Rewarder you are going to have hope, positive expectation, and confidence when you pray. This will make a huge difference. When my Dad would tell me that he was going to reward me for cleaning up the back yard, I worked with confidence. How much more should we have confidence when we are praying like our Heavenly Father has told us to?

God is not only a Rewarder He is an “Intervener.” This is especially important in this hour as we face the COVID-19 plague. The world desperately needs an intervention. We are going to be having a 72 hour time of prayer and fasting leading up to Easter to specifically pray for God to step in and interrupt Satan’s previously scheduled program of destruction. We are believing for a mighty intervention and world wide revival. As we pray let’s boldly remember and declare how God has been and is today the Intervener.

He intervened at Passover and delivered a whole nation from Egypt to liberty

He intervened in Jehoshaphat’s day and destroyed 5 armies that surrounded Jerusalem

He intervened when Daniel was in a lion’s den and when 3 Hebrew children were thrown into a fiery furnace Jesus was in the fire with them and delivered them.

He intervened when a plague struck the people of Israel and Aaron with his golden censor prayed and stopped the plague.

He intervened when Peter was in prison and brought an angel to open the door.

He intervened when humanity was lost and a virgin conceived and bore the Savior of the world.

He intervened when Jesus fed 5000, raised Lazarus from the dead, cast out demons from a man who had a whole legion of them, and He even intervened by raising up a man paralyzed for 38 years.

Then of course, God intervened in the greatest intervention in history when He raised Jesus Christ from the dead, overwhelming the gates of Hell and ending sin’s reign forever!

As we wait for the final Grand Intervention of Jesus’ second coming. Let us boldly come to our Great Intervener and expect Him to shake the world and step down into the darkness around us with a history making breakthrough.
