Purpose Declarations 2017

  1. I am a person of purpose who knows what on earth I am here for. I will not waste a single minute or opportunity to make Jesus famous on the earth. I’ve settled it, It’s all about God, it’s not about me.

  2. I am a worshiper and not a watcher. I daily let God love me and I love Him back with all of my heart, soul, and mind. I center my life on God, and make sure Jesus is the center of all I do.

  3. I am not just a believer, I am a belonger. I love my church family and I am ready to be a spiritual brother, sister, mom, Dad, aunt, uncle, or spiritual grandparent to my spiritual family and go the distance for their success. I am not just a fan of Jesus but a follower of Jesus committed to become more and more like Christ and deeper and deeper in my faith. My goal in life is simply to be like Jesus in every area: how I love, live, learn, and respond to any situation. I don’t seek first for my comfort but my conformity to Christ. I won’t be satisfied until, “I awaken in His likeness.”

  4. I am not just a sitter but a server. I am a person who takes the place Jesus took at the table, not to get from the table but to serve those at the table, I am a giver not just a taker, a contributor not just a consumer. I don’t believe God is simply there to serve me, I am here to serve Him and others.

  5. I am a missionary and not just a member, a spiritual rescuer not just a relaxer. I leave the 99 to go look for the one. I seek and ask for the lost for my inheritance. I know my story has the ability to change lives forever, so I share it wherever I can with whomever I can. I am destined to make Heaven bigger and take others with me there.

  6. Yes, I run with purpose in every step. I know the time is short and the night comes when I can no longer work for my precious Savior, so I stay sold out to His purposes and plans.

  7. The die is cast, I have stepped over the line. The decisions have been made. I am a disciple of Jesus and I won’t look back, let up, be still, or back away.

  8. My past is redeemed, my present makes sense, my future is secure. I’m done with low living, small planning, smooth knees, colorless dreams, tired visions, mundane talking, cheap living, and dwarfed goals.

  9. I no longer need preeminence, prosperity, position, promotions, or popularity. I don’t have to be right, or first, or tops, or recognized, or rewarded. I live by faith, lean on His presence, walk by patience, lift by prayer, and labor by Holy Spirit power.

  10. My face is set, my gait is steady, my goal is Heaven, my road is narrow, my way may be rough, my companions may be few, but my mission is clear. I will not be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, deceived or delayed.

  11. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice or hesitate in the presence of the adversary. I will not negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity, or meander at the maze of mediocrity.

  12. I won’t give up, shut up, or let up until I have stepped up, paid up, and preached up for the cause of Christ. I am a disciple of Jesus. I must give with all I’ve got, share until all know, work until He comes. And when He does come for His own, He’ll have no problem recognizing me. My colors will be clear.
